After an early morning breakfast, your sightseeing tour in Kathmandu begins. Today, you will explore some of the most iconic cultural and spiritual landmarks in the city. At first, you will start your day with a visit to the holiest temple, Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is located on the banks of the Bagmati River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a place for deep spiritual significance. The journey passes through stunning landscapes, green hills, and small rural villages, where the route words through the mid-hills of Nepal, provide you a chance to see the terraced fields. On Day 05 of your trip, you will be engaging in the natural beauty and wildlife of Chitwan National Park. After a hearty breakfast, you will embark on the morning jungle safari in Chitwan National Park, home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the rare one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, wild elephants, deer, and many species of birds. You can choose between an elephant safari or a jeep safari through the jungle. Both options provide a unique view and experience of the wildlife and natural surroundings. With more than 500 species of birds, Chitwan is a dream destination for bird watchers, where your guide will take you to some of the best spots in the park, such as the Rapti River, where you can see kingfishers, Gharial Crocodiles, and herons.

The duration depends on the road and traffic conditions, as during peak seasons, the route is mostly busy. After breakfast, you will start your journey to Pokhara, passing through beautiful landscapes, including hills, rivers, and terraced farmland along the way. The drive from Chitwan to Pokhara navigates through lush green valleys, small towns, and winding roads along rivers such as the Trishuli River. 

After a beautiful and peaceful drive, you reach Pokhara, a charming city known for its impressive lakes. Along the way, you can enjoy the stunning mountain views and the serene atmosphere of this lakeside city. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel and take some time to refresh yourself. One representative from our team will be at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), where you will be transferred to your designated hotel inside Kathmandu Valley. Our team offers you a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle based on the size of your group and the client’s preferences. 

Accommodations and Meals 

During your Honeymoon Tour, High Camp Adventure facilitates you with a variety of accommodation choices, allowing you to select the best one based on your needs and preferences. In Kathmandu, you are provided with a 3-star hotel facility that provides you with a better experience and a comfortable place to rest and relax. Upon reaching Chitwan, you are offered a simple hotel, usually near the National Park area. At Pokhara, you will be provided with a peaceful, mid-range hotel near the Lakeside area. For visitors, High Camp Adventure has provided the facility to upgrade the accommodation for your stay at an additional cost. 

Meals on the tour include breakfast only, which is mostly provided by the hotels. Our Honeymoon package includes only breakfast when you reach Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara, helping you with a great start to the day before you head to explore. Breakfast usually includes both local and international dishes, along with getting a chance to enjoy the Nepalese cuisine.

Transportation Details     

Airport Transfers (Arrival and Departure)

During your arrival at the International Airport, one representative will transfer you to the designated hotel via private vehicle. In the same way, the drop-off at the airport for your departure is arranged. 

Sightseeing Within Kathmandu 

During your sightseeing tours in Kathmandu, private transportation (usually an air-conditioned car, van, or bus, based on your group size) will be provided that will take you to the major attractions such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. 

Mountain Flight 

For the mountain flight, you will board a small aircraft (usually operated by Buddha Air or Yeti Airlines). The morning mountain flight journey offers some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. 

Transportation for Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Chitwan, Pokhara

For the trip to Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Chitwan, and Pokhara, a private vehicle will be provided for the drive. The routes are well-maintained; however, some of the sections of the road include bumpy patches, with stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The vehicle will be air-conditioned and comfortable, with a driver who knows the route well.

  • Make sure to choose wisely the season you make your tour, as during the monsoon, there is are high risk of landslides and flooding.
