Best Time to Do the Bungee Jumping

During the Bungee Jumping in Nepal, Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) are ideal seasons to do the Bungee jump. The best time for bungee jumping in Nepal depends on the weather, since the activity is outdoors, where different seasons can impact the experience.

Spring (March to May)

The Spring, ranging from March to May, is a great time for bungee jumping in Nepal, with mild temperatures, predictable weather, and clear skies. During this time, you are rewarded with the snow-capped mountain views, creating a beautiful and pleasant environment. In spring, you will be witnessing some blooming flowers and landscapes turning lush and green. Autumn (September to November)

Autumn is regarded as the ideal time for bungee jumping in Nepal, with clear skies, comfortable weather, and mild temperatures. The air is crisp after the monsoon, with excellent visibility, allowing you a chance to witness the breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The clear skies and dry weather make autumn the perfect season to enjoy the incredible views of the mountains and landscapes during your jump. This season is also one of the busiest for tourism in Nepal, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere.

Summer (June to August)

The summer months in Nepal, ranging from June to August, bring heavy rainfall and high humidity. This can make your bungee jumping less enjoyable and even risky, as the rain reduces the visibility, obstructing the beautiful mountain views. Due to heavy rain and wet conditions, many bungee jump operators are closed during the monsoon to ensure safety.

Winter (December to February)

Winter in Nepal can be very cold, especially in the higher altitudes, with temperatures dropping below the freezing point. While Kathmandu and Pokhara have milder winters, the areas surrounding them can experience snowfall and cold weather. During winter, there are fewer tourists, making the atmosphere quiet and peaceful.

Travel Insurance

When booking a bungee jumping experience in Nepal, our team recommends clients obtain travel insurance before embarking on the adventure. For activities like bungee jumping, it usually covers medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation related to high-risk activities. It guarantees protection if you are injured during the activity, with coverage for hospital and medical treatment. Be sure to choose a policy that specifically includes adventure sports and check that it covers bungee jumping.
